Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery-oriented approaches

In recent years, there has been a national and provincial shift in the field of mental health towards evidence-based, recovery-oriented mental health systems and services. The recovery orientation emphasizes client choice and a holistic approach to meeting client needs in key psychosocial areas such as housing and employment. Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) techniques are key to recovery.
